PROGRAM MANAGER - VA

Blue Arc is seeking a qualified Program Manager for an administrative support program with a US Department of Defense (DoD) customer in Springfield, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a positive, customer-focused mission.

The Program Manager will perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple groups of personnel at multiple locations (Springfield, VA, and St. Louis, MO).  The PM organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of contract support activities and deliverables.  The PM also develops plans, schedules, and resource estimates for projects and programs using established program management standards.  The PM establish and alters (as necessary) management structure to direct effective contract support activities or assigned deliverables.

Location:  Springfield, VA

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage fellow team members to support a variety of National Geospatial Intelligence (NGA) offices requiring experienced administrative and program support.  Supervised personnel include cleared Administrative Assistants who manage office schedules, calendars, and completion of other administrative events (meetings, conferences, travel, etc.) within established NGA policies.

  • Maintain effective relations with the customer and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and engage with government personnel to address any issues related to personnel performance, requirements, concerns, or other support issues.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience (10+ years desired) in program/project management.

  • Demonstrated experience in the following:

    • Using corporate staffing processes to quickly satisfy government FTE requirements.

    • Satisfying government requirements in conducting program management reviews (PMRs) and reporting financial data on government contracts.

    • Leading mid-size teams.

  • A project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or DAWIA Level II) is highly desired but not required.

  • US. Citizens only – a TS/SCI clearance is required.
